| Quality for Productivity
At Compasso we believe that
high quality in Information Technology is not just a competitive
edge, but a requirement. In order to guarantee a software project’s
success, Compasso works within the standards established by
the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) of the Software Engineering
Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. This standard
defines methodologies in technology processes that determine
a level of quality maturity so that providers may prove eligibility
to offer solutions to U.S. Government agencies.
Like many of the best IT Service providers today, Compasso
has found the right balance of rigorous methodologies vs.
low cost for our clients. Clients simply will not pay for
all of the documentation and procedures in something like
a CMM Level V approach. Our methodology takes the best practices
of the Software Engineering Institute for critical success
areas and blends them with a proven and cost effective set
of procedures that produce what our client’s demand – quality
software systems at a low cost delivered in business sensitive
time frames.
In order to improve project management quality, Compasso
has developed tools that allow Compasso project managers,
software architects and developers to plan, review and coordinate
the whole software project life-cycle, providing greater
clarity and transparency to the project proceedings. The
result is that Compasso has achieved an excellent technical
qualification process, and is continually working toward
attaining increasingly productive quality in order to provide
even better service to its customers.
